CUATRECASAS PORTAL PRIVACY POLICY “WALLET”

By using this Portal, and, particularly, the services provided through it, each User's personal data is collected and processed subject to this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy"). All the capitalized terms in this Privacy Policy will have the meaning established in the Terms of Use (which can be viewed at this link) unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

The personal data provided to us and any updates of this data will be processed by Cuatrecasas, with registered office at Avenida Diagonal 191, 08018 Barcelona, Spain, in its capacity as processing controller and processor, as applicable. The personal data collected and processed from Users on the Portal is the personal data of Cuatrecasas’s Clients, under the terms specified in the Terms of Use.

Cuatrecasas acknowledges that the Client’s personal data—on the basis that the Client is also responsible for any names and business addresses of its partners, relatives, administrators, executives and employees in general it provides—is the Client’s exclusive property. To properly provide the legal services the Client has requested, Cuatrecasas needs to access and process personal data on the Client’s behalf, such as given names and surnames; identifiers; addresses and contact data; offices; and contractual, business and employment data, which are all necessary to provide these legal services.

Therefore, Cuatrecasas, in its capacity as processor for providing the specific legal services contracted, will use any personal data it accesses exclusively to perform these services and according to the client’s instructions, the professional code of legal practice, and in keeping with data protection law in force. Cuatrecasas will not apply or use this data for any other purpose. Specifically, Users' personal data will be collected and processed to maintain the relationship with Cuatrecasas and inform them of the state of the matter being resolved. Users’ personal data will also be collected and processed to answer any questions they send through the Portal.

The legal basis for processing mentioned above is the execution of the contract between Cuatrecasas and the client. Cuatrecasas will only allow access to personal data by its administrators, employees or other individuals under its charge that need to access it to carry out their activity within the scope of the services provided.

Cuatrecasas will process Users’ personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship and will stop processing it as soon as it is no longer required to provide the services requested. In all cases, once Cuatrecasas has provided the specific legal services requested, it will keep this documentation in compliance with any applicable legal obligations.

Users’ personal data will be processed with a level of protection commensurate with applicable standards on data protection and will not be subject to automated decisions.

If the Client provides the personal data of third parties, it must inform them of the points of this clause before including their data, and it will be personally liable to Cuatrecasas for any harm and loss caused in the event of breach.

Under current law, Users may exercise their rights of access, rectification or deletion of data, request that processing be restricted, oppose it or request data portability, as well as withdraw their consent, at any time, by sending written notice to Cuatrecasas, Avenida Diagonal 191, 08018 Barcelona, Spain, or by sending an email to data.protection.officer@cuatrecasas.com, clearly indicating the right they wish to exercise and attaching a copy of their national identification document or similar document proving their identity. You may also file a claim with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

The User agrees to notify Cuatrecasas of any change to the personal data provided. Any harm and loss caused to the Cuatrecasas Portal or any third parties due to the communication of erroneous, imprecise or incomplete information is the sole and exclusive liability of the User.
